6. Hydrostatic test pressure (bar)
The maximum hydrostatic test pressure value is of maximum 70 bari, depending on the type of steel, wall thickness and the diameter of the pipe.The time of maintaining the hydrostatic test pressure is of minimum 5 seconds for pipes with external diameter ≤ 457mm and minimum 10 seconds for greater diameters.
Protection,
marking, documents, delivery
-
The pipes are delivered unprotected or coated with extruded polyethylene for temperatures up to 70°C.
- the pipes are delivered with bevelled ends to an angle of
30 degrees +/- 5 degrees, keeping a front ring of 1.60 +/- 0,80
mm;
- each pipe will be marked - stencilled and painted at about
300 mm from one of the ends;
- each lot of pipes will be accompanied by the mill test certificate
according to EN 10204/DIN 50049;
- the delivery will be made by railway, truck or ship.
